Ready Set Break

Never a dull moment and Spring Break is no exception. The norm for spring is planning out an activity for each day of the week that families can go to and then the teenagers go party in the evening. This year is a little different. Surprise road trip with my family and friend, Laura, up to Idaho and Utah. The trip sounds freezing, but it will be fun and I'll be able to tour both BYU Provo and BYU Rexburg while we're there.
Saturday we woke up and left at 4am. A few gas stations later we made it to my cousin's house in Springville, Utah. Honestly, I hardly remember what happened on that drive. We're pretty funny though. :) After hanging around for a little bit we traveled over to BYU campus. Laura was surprising her friends from high school by only telling one she was in town and then we showed up at their dorms. I really liked the set up of the dorms. I never realized how much housing there was on campus and how different it all can be. We walked around a little convenient store for a minute that was run by the creamery. CUTE BOYS! lol All of her friends were happy to see her and we stayed over till at least 12:30.
Valerie was sick last night so sleep was cut short yet again. We left for Idaho around 8am to surprise my grandma for her 70th birthday. It worked out great and even though there is a lack of sleep, this trip is better than I thought it would be. Hopefully it won't snow and we'll continue to have adventures up here in Zion. ;)
