Halfway Through Break

Leaving Rexburg tomorrow afternoon and the time up here was fun. Monday I hung out with three of my cousins. We went to lunch and bowling and sadly I bowled around a 60. I'm out of practice and no bumpers. :( We also saw the Lorax at Fat Cats (like a tiny Amazing Jakes). That night the whole family went out to dinner (Mexican food in Idaho isn't outstanding...) and had a party for my Grandma with her friends.
Tuesday I toured BYU-I with Laura and my family, minus Bryce. There were two other girls on the tour with their parents so we didn't get a golf cart, but we got a free shirt! The campus was pretty even though there was no snow or plants (haha awkward season...). I still think BYU-I is small... but I can see myself going there. There are lots of activities and everything seemed sort of right. It wouldn't take me along to adopt into college life, if it wasn't for the weather! Everyone keeps telling me how warm it is and I'm freezing! After the official tour, Laura, Megan, and I roamed around seeing Laura's favorite parts of campus and what I would be interested in. Monica, her sister, even showed us the Jungle Room. We hung out with my family that night and saw "This Means War". CHRIS PINE IS HOT! ;)
Each day has been a sleep-in day. <3 Wednesday we went to the Cal Store (I want a baby duck now) because it's my dad's favorite. He played dress up almost the entire time. Afterwards we went to Pizza Pie Cafe (thanks for the suggestion Tori!) which is a buffet devoted to types of pizza, pasta, and salad. Monica, Laura, and I ventured off to go shopping at a few little stores and then the rest of the night was pretty chill.
I miss my friends, but this is a good trip. Hopefully we continue to be safe and have fun. Guess I might as well go to bed early. Valerie fell asleep on my bed though. *sigh* Being the oldest....
