Thursday, Elisabeth and I had a great time playing Life and I really want to have a Game Night. It's been too long! Friday, Laura had surgery on her gums. We made her pudding since she can't eat too much right now and I had fun voicing for her while she signed. Not talking really does stink. Saturday, I went out to lunch with my mom and sisters after Les Mis rehearsal ended. After that I went to volunteer at a band competition my school throws for the old band director who passed away a few years ago. It was really sweet to see so many High Schools around the valley supporting someone who stood for what he loved and contributed so much to music at our school. Having fun while racking up the NHS points is always a plus.
Every weekday before these adventures I have "The Man Who Came to Dinner" rehearsal. We open the first weekend of November. It's a great to show to be in. Every time we receive notes at the end of a run I'm flooded with compliments on how well I'm doing. I hope all the praise doesn't inflate my humble ego. ;) lolz jk I love myself. I hope the rest of the cast has as much confidence in their roles as I do. The timing needs to pick up to make the show more comedic, but I think we'll get their. Since I'm one of the servants I definitely draw a lot from Downton Abbey's downstairs staff. <3 <3 <3 I love that show.
So that night I went to USwirl with some friends and my mom gave me $1.75 since I didn't have my wallet on me. If you're unfamiliar with USwirl, it's a frozen yogurt store that allows you to fill your own bowl with yogurt and toppings and then pay based on the weight. I was determined to get as much out of my $1.75 as I could so some of the boys went to work with fractions to figure out how much yogurt I could put in my bowl without going over my budget. After a few minute of calculations and double checking I set my cup on the scale....
