Never A Dull Moment

Fall Break was filled with adventures in between bouts of sickness and stress. It's time to focus on the ACT and apply for BYU, but the last few days have been hectic.

Thursday I drove up the boys, my dad, and a friend to go camping at Christopher Creek. It's our favorite location. Only a few hours into our outdoors fun my dad got really sick. I was really thankful another family had followed us up there because my dad needed to be brought back home ASAP. That night he was taken to the hospital and has been there the last three days with pancreatitis. I'm not exactly sure what it is or how he got it, but it prevents him from eating or drinking anything. He's suppose to come home tomorrow, but he isn't able to eat food still, so we'll see. Well the camping trip proceeded without him and I was proud of Brianna and I for taking care of everything by ourselves without adult supervision. There were lots of card games, running around, star gazing, and building huge fires. Colton and Michael came up the second day and they kept everything real. I love camping.

Saturday I got to see Copperstar's Wizard of Oz and it was fantastic. Valerie and all the other munchkins were adorable. The costumes were gorgeous and I envied the detailed set. I'm also wondering if there is some way to test one of those fly harnesses or ride in Glinda's bubble because flying on stage looks sooooooo cool! I'm sad I didn't participate in the show, but I just did Wizard of Oz and things have been hectic enough. We're also sleeping at my grandma's house right now. Living fifteen minutes away from everything is a pain. I can't wait till we get our new house! In the mean time, I'm so thankful that things have been working out and that I have a family, ward, and friends that love me. Time for senior year, quarter two!

Come what may and love it. ~Joseph B. Worthlin
